The Establish (EST) Change Approach
Our Change Management approach sets us apart from other consultancies as it makes Business Change Management Easy to understand, clear to track, and it is tailored to the specific changes being made in your organisation. There are 3 interdependent pillars to establishing (EST) change:
Engagement: Connecting with the right people through various phases of a project
Solution: Solution which is specific to what you’re implementing. The integrity of the solution will impact engagement and transition timing
Transition: Defining what needs to change when and how this can be achieved

How change is established
Engagement
Starting with identifying the right stakeholders, progresses to setting up the various cohorts, monitoring and managing the quality of engagement throughout the project. Very often the issues impacting engagement is either access to information or the perceptions of what is being shared – typically about the solution or the transition plan. This means that our engagement can inform and influence the solution and plan to ensure that we as a project team adapt as appropriate to achieve success!
Solution
First and foremost the vision and objectives need to defined and stakeholders aligned accordingly. Then there is a key step of breaking that vision down into objectives for the organisation, for the functions and for various teams. Once this is established and understood we monitor how we are progressing towards achieving these objectives for each stakeholder group. This component is obviously integral to the transformation but often overlooked in various change management approaches or seen as out of scope for the change team. We may not be the architects but we monitor and manage perceptions and acceptance as a key aspect of the process.
Transition
The transition plan is the culmination of the change management efforts as it outlines what needs to happen when in order to achieve success. Very often and in most change methodologies the focus is on preparation for “go-live” and support post “go-live” but change is not an event it is established over time. There are numerous events and activities leading up to those events that stakeholder need to prepare for and contribute towards. The sooner stakeholders are mobilised and start to make changes the more effective the transition will be. Our approach ensures that we develop a plan and manage it effectively while providing stakeholders with a clear view of how various groups are progressing throughout the journey.
